El edificio 2 de Sega Akihabara, inicialmente llamado \u201cGigo\u201d (un portmanteau de \u201cGimmick\u201d y \u201cGod\u201d), fue uno de los centros de juegos m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1ticos de Jap\u00f3n. Lleno de enormes arcades de la vieja escuela, incluido el primer juego arcade de Pokemon de la historia, este impresionante hito de 6 plantas abarcaba cualquier g\u00e9nero de juego diferente, desde cazadores de ovnis a juegos de cartas virtuales, pasando por juegos de lucha o shmup. Sin ser la recreativa de Sega m\u00e1s antigua de Akihabara (Club Sega), la m\u00edtica recreativa ten\u00eda un estilo divertido y futurista (v\u00e9anse los neones de las escaleras mec\u00e1nicas del exterior) claramente dise\u00f1ado para los otaku. Lamentablemente cerr\u00f3 en agosto de 2020 debido principalmente a la crisis cov\u00eddica que aceler\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n de Sega de recortar sus gastos antes de vender unos meses despu\u00e9s su filial de entretenimiento a Genda Inc.
