Batsugun officially licensed merch collection in partnership with Tatsujin, owner of all Toaplan’s IP. Batsugun is a shoot ’em up developed by Toaplan in 1993, often considered one of the precursors of the “bullet hell” subgenre.
It stands out for its breakneck pace, dense waves of projectiles, and a scoring system based on chaining enemy kills. It is also famous for marking an important transition toward more modern shoot’em ups, strongly influencing studios such as Cave.
