Developped by Technos Yoshihisa Kishimoto’s team, released in 1987 on arcade just one year after Renegade, Double Dragon (双截龍, ダブルドラゴン) is the first game of its kind to feature a true two-player mode, where players can cooperate or compete against each other. Adding to the traditional punches and kicks, elbows, knees, headbutts, throws, jumping kicks, Double Dragon was a veritable revolution in the beat them up genre. This Double Dragon t-shirt pays a tribute to the famous title screen of the 1st Double Dragon. Completely redrawn in watercolor by illustrator Arthur Ortega.
